What does Life Coaching + Groceries have in common?
Recently I realized that Life Coaching + groceries (yes, groceries!) have something in common...
Guess what sister, you don’t have to do this alone, and by this, I mean this crazy ass journey called life. As independent women we think we have to have to all figured out and do everything on our own. At least I know this was the case for me. When I was going through my quarter life crisis I was fucking miserable, but I didn’t want to ask for help. I felt ashamed and thought being unhappy in my chosen career (that I spent a decade building!) was a sign of failure. I didn’t want to “fail” so I sucked it up, went to my soul sucking job and chose the paycheck over passion. Eventually my unhappiness consumed me, so I sought help. Who knows what my life would be like today if I didn’t hire my first life coach. Admitting that I couldn’t “do it on my own” was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I now know having support is crucial to becoming our best versions and living incredible lives. And to this day I continue to hire coaches when I need support in taking my life to the next level. The best example of why getting support is crucial to becoming your best version is groceries (yes, groceries!). Have you ever been carrying multiple bags of groceries and someone stops to ask if you need help and you automatically respond with, “no, I’m fine.”How much easier would it of been if you just said, “Sure, actually I could really use the help!”I’m guessing A LOT easier! No stumbling to find your keys, or opening car doors while juggling multiple bags of groceries. Or even worse, bags breakings! I’ve broken many eggs while being stubborn and responding with “no, I’m fine”. Just like sometimes you need someone to help you with the groceries, sometimes you need someone to help guide you in life. I’ve re-designed my 1:1 coaching offerings and if you’re tired of sucking it up and are seeking support, I invite you to check them out. I know that hiring a coach for 3 or 6 months is a big commitment, it’s also one that should not be taken lightly. This is why I’ve also created a one off session called, Begin: An Intro to Life Coaching. You’ll get a sneak peak into what it’s like to have your own personal guide, plus you’ll look at every area of your life, assess what’s working and not, get clear on what YOU really want, and then create attainable actions steps that you feel inspired to take. I would love to guide you on your journey. Learn more here. And last, but not least, next time someone asks if you need help, just say yes!

Em
