In the beginning of my journey I felt like a crazy woman. I didn’t understand what I was going through and neither did my friends or family.Can you relate?It was at a time in my life when I felt incredibly unhappy in my chosen profession and I felt stuck AF!I did everything I thought I was supposed to… college, career, independence, city living, beautiful apartment, nice car, etc.But at the end of the day I was left feeling unfulfilled and like something BIG was missing from my life.When I tried to talk to my friends and family about what I was going through they would look at me with a blank stare which only fed the fire of confusion.Often they would respond with...
“But you have a great job!”
“But you live in San Francisco!”
"But you’re an Interior Designer!”
All of which sounds great on paper, but I craved more.
More PASSION.
More PURPOSE.
More FREEDOM.
More REAL connection with people who understood what I was going through.And that brings me to today’s topic… sisterhood!
Change is scary and going through it without support can make it SO. MUCH. MORE. DIFFICULT.
