4 Steps to manifesting anything you want!

This blog post wasn’t on my radar, but the story behind how I recently & effortlessly manifested a new camera is so awesome that I knew I needed to share it with you right away!

The story... 

Making videos has been on my radar for some time, but I’m not the most technically savvy person and the idea of making videos feels daunting to me. Questions plagued my mind. What equipment do I use? Can I just use my phone? Or what about my computer? How do I upload them? Blah, blah, blah...To some these questions may have simple answers, but they brought me to state of overwhelm and created the space for my inner gremlins to swoop in with their limiting thoughts. Thoughts filled with cant's, shoulds and roundabout small thinking. But I believe everything is figure-outable and was determined to find a solution that works for me, so I began to ask myself, “HOW can I make videos?” A few days later I woke up and had the inspired idea, “Start simple. Go and see what your camera options are.” “OK”, I thought, “that seems simple and an easy place to start.” My partner came home a short while later and mentioned he was going to Best Buy. “Perfect,” I thought, “I’ll tag along.”When I got to the camera section I smiled when I saw they were having a HUGE 2 day sale. I’m a firm believer in the Law of Attraction so I knew this sale was not a coincidence. I spotted a Cannon that had been on my radar to purchase awhile back which was discounted $130 off the normal price.  Super stoked Emily. Since the Universe was clearly on my side, I decided to go all in and purchase the bundle package which included an 8GB memory card, case and battery. As the sales guy collected my items, he realized they were out of 8GB memory cards and gave me an 16GB one for a few extra bucks.  As he rang up my items there was an additional discount he couldn’t explain.

I left the store with a savings of $194.96 and needless to say a huge smile on my face.

I’m still blown away when I witness the magic of the Universe unfold in front of me and I love this story because it’s such a clear example of how the Law of Attraction works.

Let's recap what happened:

1. I didn’t give into the self-sabotaging inner gremlins2. I countered their limiting thinking by asking myself HOW3. I received and listened to an inspired idea4. I took immediate actionLet’s break it down a bit further so you can apply the same principles to your own life.

#1: Don't give into the gremlins 

Inner gremlins, saboteurs and demons are the voices in our heads that fill us with limited thinking, cant's, shoulds and overwhelm us with details. Their job is to keep us safe and by doing so it keeps us playing small. If you give into these thoughts you’ll never make it to step #2, will never manifest anything (intentionally) or move forward in life. Learning how to deal with your inner gremlins is key. #2: Ask how

I could of stopped at step #1, given into my inner gremlins and the idea of making videos, but I didn’t. I countered the overwhelm they created by asking HOW. If you’re anything like me, you tend to overcomplicate things, but everything is figure-out-able, you just have to ask the right question, how. How is the most powerful question you can ask yourself because your mind will work to find a solution. Also, by asking how you take back control from the inner gremlins . Replace cant's, needs, wants, etc  with how. Try it now with one thing you’d like to manifest.  Here are a few examples… I need to make more money becomes: HOW can I make more money?I want to find a partnership becomes: HOW can I find a partnership? I can’t afford to go to Bali becomes: HOW can I afford to go to Bali?

This step alone can be life changing. Try it!

#3: Listen 

Listen, listen, listen to that inner whisper. Once you ask yourself how,  you’ll start to have inspired ideas, but you have to listen and trust those ideas. They cannot be ignored. If you don’t listen and trust you’ll miss out on BIG opportunities. Listening is about learning to trust the wiser part of us, our intuition, our gut, the divine, whatever you wish to call it, there is something within us that holds the answers. Listen, trust and...

#4: Take immediate action 

I received my inspired idea and within a few hours I took action. If I waited until Monday or the following week I would have missed the 2 day sale completely. I didn’t wait, I didn’t hesitate. I took immediate action. How many opportunities pass us by because we put something off? We become victims of “I’ll do it tomorrow” and then the tomorrows never happen. Once you have an inspired idea it’s imperative that you take immediate action. Invoking the Law of Attraction can be magical and truly transform your life. Follow these steps and go create ANYTHING you want! Let me know about it in the comments below.
