Confession. I almost quit my business. Here's why...

It’s been awhile…A few months ago I thought about quitting my business.Throwing in the towel, giving up on my dreams of becoming an entrepreneur, and settling for the nine to five grind. The truth was I felt burnt out. Exhausted. Uninspired. And over it all!I empower women to fall madly in love with themselves and their lives, but along the journey of hustling and creating my own business,

I fell out of love with myself.

My life was a constant state of go-go-go… do-do-do… create-create-create.I knew something had to give or I was going to break, so I hit the pause button, and devoted several months to me.

These last several months have been life changing.

I gave myself permission.

Permission to rest without feeling guilty.

Permission to say no.

Permission to just be.

I spent 30 days practicing gratitude.

I went to Bali.

And I’ve enjoyed several guilt-free lazy weekends with my little fam bam.

True self-love goes way deeper than taking a fucking bubble bath.

It's about honoring what YOU need.

Even if that means saying no to everyone and everything so you can say YES to yourself.

Sometimes that may even mean taking a step back from something you’ve put your heart, soul and tears into creating, so you can fall back in love with what matters most to you.I’m back. I’m reconnected with my true self, my intuition, and my vision. And I can say those words with clarity and confidence.I’m still finding the balance between hustling & giving myself space, but I now know that space is equally important.I now know that our dreams & creativity need space to thrive and come alive.

Nothing can grow if it’s being suffocated.

Especially our soul.

And every time we lose a part of ourselves it's an opportunity to be refound and step further into our truth.

Like a phoenix rising from the ashes and being reborn, I’m reborn (yet again!).To rising from the ashes,

xo, Em
