28 ways to practice radical self love
Oh how I love the fall, especially the epic sunsets that happen here in the Bay Area. The long nights ahead are a time to slow down, rejuvenate, nurture, and reconnect with ourselves.Since this time of year naturally cultivates a desire to go within, it's a great time to begin or depend your self-love practice.
Here are a few ideas on how to practice radical self love this fall.
- Choose rest & relaxation over the to do list.
- Stop the glorification of busy, slow down and learn to say no.
- What is your body craving? Listen. And give yourself what YOU need.
- Let go of draining projects to make room for projects that light you up.
- When making a decision begin asking yourself, “does this serve me?” If the answer is no, let to let it go.
- Have a letting go ceremony. Spend time letting go of things (habits, people, ideas, etc) that will no longer serve you.
- Forgive yourself. We’ve all done things in our past that we’re not proud of. It’s part of life. Learn to forgive yourself for these wrongs.
- Write a self-love letter to yourself.
- List at least 30 things you love about yourself.

- Eat more nourishing foods and drink more tea.
